- Properties are user-defined data that can be attached to any entity
of the DIVE database. This document describes the
different functions and commands to manipulate properties, both from C
and from Dive/Tcl.

- Actors are a way of representing external applications and users. This
document details the motivation for actors, the different access functions,
etc.

- DIVE supports different protocols and different
MIME types, both internally and externally. This document presents how
file input is handled in Dive and the different functions necessary to
