Introduction to Dive.

User Manuals

 Entities. PostScript file.
Describes the different objects composing the DIVE database, the meaning of their, different fields and the different access functions.
 Callbacks. PostScript file.
Describes the different events that can occur during a DIVE session and the different ways of getting callbacks from a C application.
 Properties. PostScript file.
Properties are user-defined data that can be attached to any entity of the DIVE database. This document describes the different functions and commands to manipulate properties, both from C and from Dive/Tcl.

Actors are a way of representing external applications and users. This document details the motivation for actors, the different access functions, etc.

DIVE supports different protocols and different MIME types, both internally and externally. This document presents how file input is handled in Dive and the different functions necessary to read the content of Uniform Resource Locators.
