Parallel processing is a discipline of strategic significance within the Information Technology sector. EURO-PAR'95 was the first conference that merged the two international conferences on parallel processing: PARLE and CONPAR-VAPP. EURO-PAR annual conferences will cover the full spectrum of parallel processing, ranging from theory to design and applications. The objective was to provide a forum within which to promote the development of parallel computing, both as an industrial technique and an academic discipline, extending the frontier of both the state of the art and the state of the practice. EURO-PAR'95 will include a vendor exhibition.
EURO-PAR'95 was organized in cooperation with ERCIM, IEEE (TC on Computer Architecture and TC on Parallel Processing), the European Commission, and Gesellschaft fuer Informatik/PARS.
The conference is over, but lives on in cyberspace. Below is information that is still relevant. Note: all papers are now on-line for the public, including several of the author's slides.
The proceedings have been published by Springer-Verlag as LNCS 966 (Lecture Notes on Computer Science).
