What are they made of?

GlowBots is built upon an educational open robot platform called e-Puck developed by EPFL. We have then extended this with a add-on module that we call a see-Puck. Those two together with a bit of software becomes GlowBots. This enables us to explore how people would interact with a swarm of small communicating robots where human participation is an integrated part of the whole setting. GlowBots uses infrared lights to get a natural narrow situated robot to robot communication that humans can learn from and participate in by physically interact with the agents.
