Media Browser addon

The Media Browser addon is a rich internet application plugin for integration with a wiki. The implementation offered is integrated with TikiWiki but can be altered for other media engines as well. It puts media objects on an interactive time line on top of the wiki, and allows the user to navigate through the set of objects. It also associates the objects with the places they were taken, and lets the user group photos around a place.

About

The browser is implemented using standard Ajax techniques. Javascript client code renders the data content received from the server, generated from the database by PHP code. The javascript code is put into the wikipage code and set to in active. A button on the wiki page will then bring up the browser, and let the user import media objects to the page the user viewing.
