Interactive Narratives 'Master Class', 1-3 September 2003 - graduate course at DSV, Royal Institute of Technology.

(August 08, 2003) -- In this mini-course we will investigate different approaches to interactive storytelling, the role of characters and drama, as well as technology directed towards interactive story telling. The students will get an opportunity to meet some European experts on interactive drama, as well as experts in the area of construction of live role playing. Game Theme Kick Off

SICS Open House 2003

(May 9, 2003) -- The Game Theme was actively involved in the yearly Open House, where SICS's Industry partners were invited to see what is happening at SICS. Annika Waern and Jonas Söderberg gave a talk entitled "Bli utmanad - spel på lek och allvar" and there were demonstrations including "Teknologier för känslomässigt engagerande spel" and a video showing the evaluation of tangible, affective gaming.

(Mar 31, 2003) -- Presentations were given by Annika Waern, Jarmo Laaksolahti, Adrian Bullock (Emotionell Interaktion i Spel) and Karl-Petter Åkesson (Världen som Spelplan), while Annika and Karl-Petter also participated in a panel discussion (Spel som Interaktiva System).
