Interactive Collaborative Environments Laboratory (ICE)
The Interactive Collaborative Environments Laboratory focuses on the development of future computational environments that will support and promote cooperative interaction. Inhabitants of these environments will require support independently of physical location as well as having interaction and communication with fellow inhabitants to occur both synchronously and asynchronously. Designing the next generation of control and interaction surfaces will bring together work in tangible and physical interfaces coupled with distributed virtual reality technology to explore how a number of heterogeneous devices and interfaces can be used in unison.
