Our second paper on the ActDresses project will be presented at DIS 2010 in Århus. Together with Rob Tieben we have explored several design explorations and implementations of the ActDresses concept and give a few hints to everyone interested in working with this exciting new interaction material.

Today we had the pleasure of meeting with Ann-Louise Norén from the company Bestic. The company is in the process of introducing their product - a robotic arm assistance tool for eating, to the market. Our initial discussions focused onpotential collaboration and study user perspectives on such technology and in particular look at longer terms of interaction and social aspects. We are very much looking forward to dig deeper into actual practice and use of robortic materials!

Lars Erik Holmquist, senior researcher and manager of the Interaction Design and Innovation laboratory at SICS has been appointed Professor in Media Technology at Södertörn University. Professor Holmquist will mainly conduct research and split his time between SICS and Södertörn University.
