MobiTip
MobiTip is a social mobile service for exchanging recommendations, comments and tips within a loosely defined domain such as a shopping mall or a conference site. Bluetooth connectivity is used to form a social space of nearby devices that is used as key input for the collaborative filtering of tips. The social space is visualized to show other users nearby, emphasising that tips are initiated by peers.

SIBLINGS
Started in August 2001. We plan to implement a prototype based on multimodal interfaces replacing or complementing the components or widgets of the graphical user interface, using combinations of speech recognition, online handwriting recognition, and gesture recognition. We have selected a music tool scenario, among architecture, management, and logistics tool user scenarios.

sView
Funded by SITI, has two purposes: to build a working prototype implementation of a Personal Service Environment (PSE) and to perform research using the platform. The purpose of the prototype is to tackle the shortcomings of the World Wide Web as a platform for providing services. The research to be done using the platform is in the field of user-service interaction and will focus on user involvement in cooperation between services, user personalization, user integrity, and increasing user control.

photoTAP
The TAP project makes agent technology and other forms of autonomous software accessible to the public through live applications. The first live case is trading agents, which represents assistant software. The second live case is controlling the spread of communicable infectious diseases, which represents agent-based social simulation. In a similar manner, future live cases will capture portions of established technologies in this area of research, always with an eye on practical employment.

GeoNotes (completed)
GeoNotes is based on positioning technology and allows people to attach virtual notes to real world locations. When other people pass the location, they will be notified about the note and will be able to read it. GeoNotes allows mass-annotations with no or little restrictions on accessing others' GeoNotes. It is also social in the way it incorporates social filtering techniques to sort out unwanted GeoNotes.
