MobiTip Download: agreement

MobiTip is a mobile service that runs on your SonyEricsson P900 phone. It is developed at SICS, the Swedish Institute of Computer Science, as a platform for studying a number of research issues. This implies the following:

1. This is a prototype and is likely to contain a bug or two

We do not guarantee a smooth, error-free use of the service. It might crash. However, it should not harm any other service or the phone itself.

2. We will do some logging

The reason for us to provide the MobiTip service is to gather data about how it is taken into use. The software thus includes primitives that will log your use of the service. Logging data will not contain any personal information, and any data published will be completely anonymized.

You may avoid being logged by avoiding being connected to
- any of our servers
- any other user that connects to any of our servers.

During the fall of 2004, two servers are located in Kista Galleria shopping mall, outside of Stockholm Sweden, and one server is available over the Internet. Bluetooth range is maximum 10 meters.

3. Your data is safe with us

We will never disclose your personal information to any third party.
