February 3 2005: User studies, we need you
We are now ready to do some final user studies of MobiTip and are looking for users to study. Interested in participating? Send a mail to mobitip@sics.se or to asa@sics.se. One restriction is that the studies will take place in Kista Galleria, Stockholm, Sweden.
December 3 2004: Bugs
We are having problems with GPRS synchronization - your MobiTip might crash (~"KERN-EXEC 3 jes...@java.comms") when you do that. Sofar, all we can say is "Keep trying": eventually, you will succeed. If possible, synchronize when docked to a PC with Internet connection and you will avoid the problem.
We are also aware of bugs, the most serious being that you can't store items if they have a new entry in the "is a/n" field. We are working on it.
(Finally, if you recently registered as a Kista user and got an error message, we have fixed that. Do NOT register again, but tell us by mail if you want to.)
November 22 2004: Synchronization
We have discovered and fixed a small error in the synchronization with the internet server. The only update needed on your part is to synchronize. Also, we would like to remind you that logging data is collected and stored on your phone. When synchronizing, the log is flushed.
So: you now have two really good reasons to synchronize! Select Synch from the MobiTip menu: if your phone is docked, the computer's interent connection will be used; if not, GPRS connection will be used.

We are just about to start testing MobiTip on the P910: it works fine on the phone but doesn't seem to communicate. We'll get back to you when we know more.
