The DALLAS project.
Practical data analysis using learning systems
There exists today several methods based on different kinds of
learning systems to analyze large amounts data, e.g. artificial neural
networks, non-linear multivariate statistical models, and inductive
logic. The purpose of this project is to spread the use of these
methods to industry and to identify strengths and weaknesses in the
methods through applying them to a number of real tasks from the
industrial participants.
The project has been supported by VINNOVA.
The participants gathered for the first meeting.
