The product configuration research group at SICS Intelligent Systems Laboratory has recently been transformed into a spin-off company for commercial exploitation of the successful configuration technology developed at SICS. The spin-off company is independent of SICS, owned by its staff.
The configurator Obelics is the most powerful sales configurator on the market. It has been in commercial use at several business units of Ericsson since 1997, and has proven to be a stable product.
Obelics is now available to other customers interested in efficient development of effective sales configuration systems.
