Ordering SICStus 3 Prolog Licenses

Prices in Euros

1. Under the academic site license, the user is obliged to license to SICS possible modifications/improvements of the licensed software free of charge.

   Educational organizations may also want to order the "Right to sub-license SICStus Prolog to Students" so their students can download the program onto their home computers and laptops. See the Academic Site License, Exhibit D, for details.

2. Strictly non-commercial use of SICStus and developed/distributed applications.

3. Discount scheme for additional users. Ask SICStus Request.

4. For academic research and may only be used by original end-user. May not be transferred, nor sold to companies. Update fee equals 2/3 of license fee.

5. Reinstatement of support fee for a lapsed (support contract has expired) license. 2/3 of the price of a new license.

6. Extended Runtime Library Add-On available.

7. Student sub-licensing available for Euros 880.

Site Licenses: Academic and Commercial

To order

1. Select the appropriate license agreement and print it out.
2. Fill in the contact data requested in Exhibit C and send 2 original signed copies to SICS. (We will countersign and return one copy.)
3. To expedite the order you may first fax the signed license agreement to SICStus Request (fax no. +46 8 751 7230) along with the purchase order before mailing the 2 copies.
4. When SICStus Request receives the signed agreement an invoice is generated. At the same time a temporary login and password(s) needed to download the software is emailed. The SICStus Prolog 3 User's Manual is available online from this site and can be printed.
5. Login and password(s) to download the permanent code is emailed when both the original signed agreement has been received and the invoice has been paid. The message will be sent by SICStus Request. If you have a SPAM filter, please make sure that the message is accepted by the filter. We cannot investigate lost messages.

To order

1. Send an email to SICStus Request stating which license is being ordered.
2. In the email include all the information requested in Exhibit C. You may also order by fax or letter.
