The ACM Conference on Embedded Networked Sensor Systems (SenSys) is the premiere and most prestigious conference in the area of wireless sensor networks. This year, out of a total of 24 papers to appear at the conference (of a total of 124 papers submitted for review), two papers are from the NES group at SICS! A paper on the Contiki cross-level simulator Cooja was accepted for publication at the First IEEE International Workshop on Practical Issues in Building Sensor Network Applications (SenseApp 2006) in Tampa, Florida, USA, 14-17th November 2006. For details, go to the publications web page.

Due to several requests, the development source code for version 2.x of the Contiki operating system is now available at the SourceForge CVS server. Instructions for getting the source code are available here (use contiki-2.x as the modulename). The CVS can be conveniently browsed here.

Version 1.0 of the popular uIP embedded TCP/IP stack is out! This release adds a number of new features to uIP (including rudimentary IPv6 support) and fixes a set of bugs found in the 0.9 release.
