SICStus Prolog 4 released.

The technical highlights of the new release include:

  • Virtual machine changes allowing programs to use the full virtual address space, and in most cases run faster than before.
  • Full commitment to the ISO Prolog standard and to UNICODE.
  • A richer set of library modules, resulting from a merger with the Quintus Prolog library.
  • A new I/O system with less overhead, more functionality, and better portability.
