Masters thesis

The Networked Embedded Systems Group offers master theses (exjobb)to interested students. We do not have a list of topics but dependingon the ability and interests of the student, we can defineinteresting thesis topics in our research areas.Note that most of our research requires deep knowledgeof C. We usually implement an idea and evaluate it experimentally. The outcome of a thesis usually is both code that ideally is integratedin our system software and of equal importance a publication ata conference. We currently do not pay thesis work but we do reward very good theses, i.e. you get a one-time fee if your thesis is very good.

Currently, we have topics on

• Sensor Network Optimizations Using Software Defined Radio Techniques
• Railway bridge monitoring
• Multichannel operation in Contiki's low-power IPv6 stack
  

but we usually can come up with other interesting thesis that matches your profile.
