Ambient, Omnipreset, "allestädes närvarande", Internet and God

In a recent discussion about words used to describe the future Internet, like "ambient", and the corresponding words in Swedish we discussed "allestädes närvarande". The definition on the Swedish Wikipedia "Allestädes närvarande, (omnipresent), egenskap som av många religioner tillskrivs gud" reminded me of one of my favourite science fiction short stories by Fredric Brown.
