Exploiting diversity by cooperation - from analysis to system architecture, talk by Professor Holger Karl
Time: Monday 24 November, 15.15-16.15
Place: SICS, seminar room Knuth
Talk by Professor Holger Karl, University of Paderborn, Germany. The talk discusses exploiting diversity by the cooperation of multiple
terminals. It focuses on the case of spatial diversity in a wireless
network, for which some design issues are discussed and a few
analytical, simulation, and experimental results are presented. The
applicability of some of these ideas to wired systems is briefly
considered and the need for an architectural perspective is
highlighted.
