Åsa Rudström

I am a SICS researcher with a PhD in Man-Machine Interaction. My overall interest is in how technology in general and ICT in particular is taken into use by people living in society. How does technology influence society, people and practices, and how do society, people and practices influence technology?

Currently, I work in the SADV project, in the domain of Maritime Awareness. My previous projects researched user issues in relation both to IPTV and to ICT tools for the older and the younger population. I am also involved in a gender project.
