Jarmo Laaksolahti

I work as a researcher in the Interaction lab at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS). Currently my main research interests are interactive drama,affective interaction and entertainment applications in general. I have a PhD in Computer and Systems Sciences from the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University. My thesis, titled Plot, Spectacle, and Experience: Contributions to the Design and Evaluation of Interactive Storytelling, deals with techniques for constructing interactive story-lines through anticipation, techniques for graphically increasing the affective expressivity/interactivity of interactive stories, and finally evaluation of interactive storytelling experiences.
