Short CV
I was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1963, and stayed here until 1984 when I started to study at Uppsala University. I received my MSc degree in Computing Science from Uppsala University in 1989, and was employed by SICS 1988 to 1995 as a researcher in the field of logic programming, planning and scheduling. In 1993 I finished my PhD at the Dept. of Computer and Systems Sciences, Stockholm University. Between 1995 and the end of 1996 I was employed at Logikkonsult NP AB (now renamed to Prover Technology AB), a small research company, doing consultancy work in the field of formal specifications. From 1997 I was one of the founders of the company Industrilogik L4i AB, a company specialised in solving hard mathematical problems found in industry. From 2001 I am once again employed at SICS, at the group Decision Support for Planning and Scheduling, DSPS. From 2003 I moved to the lab Industrial Applications and Methods Laboratory. Through the years I have managed several projects, and also been a member of the board of Industrilogik.
Research Interests
My main interest is to model hard and/or complex problems occurring in industry using constraint logic programming and/or different operation research techniques. As a side interest to this I am also interested in how to visualize results of such computations as a part of an overall solution to the initíal problem.
