With this workshop, we seek to explore interdisciplinary approaches to helping individuals in managing their privacy in the context of emerging information technologies. We are particularly interested in usability and applicability aspects of this theme. We also seek to learn how different perspectives may be combined to produce a deeper understanding of the issues.

The main goal of the workshop is to create a forum for the exchange of experience and knowledge among researchers and developers concerned with multi-disciplinary aspects of privacy in the context of emerging information technologies. We hope that the workshop will serve to foster the development of an international community interested in the themes of this workshop.

This site will be updated continuously with more information about registration, accepted contributions, and more.

Accommodation
The workshop will be held at the Sigtuna foundation, beautifully located in Sigtuna, only a 25 minutes taxi ride from Arlanda International Airport outside Stockholm. We propose two kinds of accommodation arrangements. Participants may stay at the Sigtuna foundation, and pay a conference fee that includes both hotel (one night) and all meals for the two days. Alternatively, participants may choose lodging elsewhere, and pay a conference fee that incudes meals during the workshop days. More information about the site as well as travel information can be found on the Sigtuna foundation web site (including summary in English).
More details, e.g. about reservation and payments, will be given closer to the workshop.
