Kathleen A. McCormick, Ph.D., F.A.C.M.I
Dr. McCormick is a senior practitioner, researcher, and policy executive in health informatics, bioinformatics, cardiopulmonary physiology, and gerontology. In May 2004 Dr. McCormick became a Chief Scientist/Vice President at SAIC in Health Solutions. She is an elected member of the National Academy of Sciences, Institute of Medicine for contributions to healthcare in America. She also participates on the Bioterrorism & Homeland Security Working Group of IEEE. She is the author of over 100 peer reviewed journal articles and 5 books.

Manfred Jaeger
Manfred Jaeger obtained a Diploma in Mathematics from Freiburg University, and a PhD in Computer Science from the University Saarbrücken. He was research associate at the Max-Planck Institute for Computer Science before in 2003 he joined the Machine Intelligence group at Aalborg University as Associate Professor. His research centers around the integration of probabilistic and logical reasoning in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Manfred Jaeger will give an invited talk on "Probabilistic Modeling and Learning in a Relational World".

Agnar Aamodt
Agnar Aamodt is Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science at NTNU, Trondheim. His main areas of research are case-based reasoning, knowledge modelling, ontologies, and machine learning. He is currently on leave from the university to work in the company Volve AS, which is a spin-off company that delivers software for on-line data analysis and experience-based decision support, mainly targetet at the oil & gas industry. He is responsible for R&D in the company.

Agnar Aamodt will give an invited talk on "Case-based reasoning for advice-giving in data-intensive enviromnents".

Patrick Doherty
Patrick Doherty will give an invited talk on "Integrating AI and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Technologies".

Patrick Doherty is a Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computer and Information Sciences (IDA), Linkoping University, Sweden. He heads the Artificial Intelligence and Integrated Computer Systems Division at IDA and is also director of LinkLab, a research center for future aviation systems. He is an ECCAI fellow and has previously served as president of SAIS. His main areas of interest are knowledge representation, automated planning and intelligent autonomous systems. A major area of application is with Unmanned Aircraft Systems. His research group has won several international competitions pertaining to micro-air vehicles and to automated planning.
