The theme of the seminar this year is

The connection between Learning Systems and Artificial Intelligence.

The research areas of Learning Systems and Artificial Intelligence are to a high extent overlapping. This year we have tried to focus on this overlap by inviting talks related to both areas. This includes the use of adaptive methods in hot application areas such as robotics and medicine.

At the end of the day the formal annual SSLS meeting is held, to which members and potential members of SSLS are welcome.
