Research information
My research is focused on statistical methods for data analysis,
classification, diagnosis, prognosis, and anomaly detection. The
methods applied are typically based in Bayesian statistics, Mixture
models, Probabilistic graphical models, and Information theory.
I have been involved in many applied research projects in cooperation with industry, working with companies such as Ericsson, TeliaSonera, SCA, EKA Chemicals, AstraZeneca, NovaCast AB, Nordisk Media Analys, ABB, Bombardier Transportation, Siemens, Scania, FMV, Saab Systems, Ateca, Kyaia.
I am also a member of the board of the Swedish Artificial Intelligence Society, with responsibility for the Machine Learning interest group.
