This is images I took after I put in the ADXL 202 accelerometer in my Pilot 1000. I found how to do it on the following webpage http://www.ibr.cs.tu-bs.de/~harbaum/pilot/adxl202.html

Thin wires were used to connect the external components.	As this was a Pilot 1000 I could not really follow the instructions on the webpage. This is where I took the ground.

The connections to the CPU. It was quite hard to solder the wires to the legs of the CPU.	I glued the wires with plastic melt glue so they would not fall of. The glue is the silver orb at the top of the image.
