Multicore Day 2015

Multicores in Mobiles and Datacenters  – understanding their behavior

SICS has organised the Multicore Day together with Uppsala University since 2007. This year, we were focusing on how multicores are used in the mobile computing and datacenters/cloud segments. We also covered some useful techniques for improving effective usage of multicores for their application areas, both in terms of the programmer’s efficiency and the system’s efficiency.

The Multicore Day, October 20 at Kista Science Tower  was part of SICS Software Week 2015.

SICS Software Week is a great opportunity to extend your personal network in your field – but if you really could not make it to Kista on the 20th of October, you will find most of the seminars recorded for streaming on demand as well as the presentations for downloading via this page.
