SICS Software Week 2016
All the talks available on video on the links below!
This year SICS Software Week includes the following three days:
Videos and presentations from all three days can be found under the links above
SMART PROGRAMMING DAY
Hosted by Christian Schulte, KTH and SICS.
The theme of the day is smart programming: what are methods and tools to make programming easier and more efficient as well as methods for optimizing programs with the use of smart techniques. One particular focus area will be the use of constraint programming: how to model problems and how to model them well and how to use constraint programming as a smart programming tool.
DATA SCIENCE DAY
Hosted by Daniel Gillblad and Sverker Janson, SICS.
Data Science Day explores the ongoing global paradigm shift to smart datadriven technologies and applications in all industries. Speakers from leading industry and academia present the latest developments in machine learning, scalable platforms, and AI, and their implications for next generation smart datadriven products, services, production, and automation. This day is fully booked but will be sent live on this website and recorded for future downloading.
Hosted by Erik Hagersten, Uppsala University.
The 10th Annual Multicore Day focuses on programming paradigms and programming languages – providing a path from productive programming to scalable and fast implementations. Can programming languages help fighting the complexity of massively parallel systems? Is the future immutable? Must scaling to the next order of magnitude require rewriting everything (again)?
