Organizing conference on embedded systems

3 February, 2017 - 16:41

The International Conference on Embedded Wireless Systems and Networks (EWSN) will be held in Uppsala on February 20-22. This year EWSN is organized by Thiemo Voigt, leader of the Networked Embedded Systems Group at RISE SICS and professor at Uppsala University, together with professor Per Gunningberg at Uppsala University.

EWSN is a highly selective single-track international conference focusing on premier research results at the intersection of embedded systems and wireless networking  – an area of highest relevance for visionary technologies such as the Internet of Things or Cyber-Physical Systems and application domains such as Smart Production, Smart Cities, or Connected Cars. The featured topic of the 2017 edition of EWSN is “Dependability”.

EWSN 2017 will also host a competition on dependability as well as two workshops in emerging areas focusing on novel embedded communication paradigms and on next-generation wireless embedded computing platforms.

EWSN 2017 is held in cooperation with ACM SIGBED.
