Practice(s) in Practice-Based Research
23 February, 2009 - 16:39
Within the course 'Architecture and Design Research' at KTH / Royal Institute on Technology, Ramia Mazé recently gave a lecture on practice-based research. Raising questions such as 'what practice(s) are involved in design research?', she presented different ways that she framed this in within her own recent PhD project, pointing to larger issues about methods, (inter)disciplinarity and relations between theory and practice. The course is examined by Katja Grillner and led by Meike Shalk for MA/MSc and PhD students in a variety of subjects from KTH and affiliated courses.
