Swedish ICT and Annie Lööf visits Brazil

3 May, 2013 - 14:59

On May 6-10, a large Swedish delegation, led by Minister Annie Lööf, will visit Brazil. Swedish ICT is among the delegates and Michael Salter, Bertrand Noharet and Walter Margulis are representing Acreo.

Together with our Swedish industrial partners - Chromafore, Sensair, Fibertronix and Swerea Kimab – we will discuss, and formalize, on-going Swedish-Brazilian energy- and clean tech-projects.

The overall purpose of the visit is to develop innovative and industrial cooperation between Sweden and Brazil. Contracts will be signed, including one between RISE Holding and the Brazilian counterpart INMETRO. The focus is on environmental innovations within energy, mining and mineral industry, but also social innovation and urban development. VINNOVA and FINEP will also organize a Research and Innovation Forum for the 60 Swedish representatives from companies, universities, research institutes and science parks and their Brazilian colleagues.

The Swedish delegation will be visiting industries and authorities in Sao Paulo, Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro
