Crowdculture is an infrastructure for financing of cultural projects aimed at creating a complementary model to the dominating existing expert based financing. Every (public) member in the system is given the choice to point his or her "stream of micro payments" to one of the presented project proposals. Also, the system provides a leverage effect whereby a member's vote controls the distribution of the potentially much larger contributor funds.
Also, the system eventually aims at opening up cultural resources (e.g. stage time) and give more people a chance to affect the cultural offerings as well as find support for their own projects. An important part of the system is the connection to the social web.
