The ElecLED project investigates forms for visualizing information using public displays. In particular, the project has produced an interactive public light installation placed in the atrium of the Electrum building in Kista. The installation visualizes information about the building and the people in it, using data based on e.g. bluetooth tracking. The light installation contains a number of light sources (RGB LEDs), each individually controllable from the system.Aspects of the project we wish to highlight

  • Visualizations to augment public space
  • Ambient displays and information aesthetics
  • From spectator to creator - reclaiming the public space
