FUDIPO – Future Directions of Production Planning and Optimized Energy – and Process Industries

FUDIPO is a 4-year project running between 2016 until 2020. It is funded by the European Commission under the H2020 programme, in response to SPIRE-02-2016 addressing “plant-wide monitoring and control of data-intensive processes”.

FUDIPO integrates machine learning, on a wide scale, into process industries, showcasing improvements in energy consumption, resource efficiency, and competitiveness of the European industry. The project develops three larger system demonstrators as well as two small technology demonstrators. To this aim, FUDIPO brings together five end-user industries within industries like: pulp and paper, waste-water management, power production, and automation.

The other consortium partners are: Mälardalen University (project coordinator), RISE SICS Vasteras, Tüpraş, Fraunhofer ISC-HTL, Tieto Austria, Mälarenergi, ABB, Bestwood, BillerudKorsnäs, IDENER, and Micro Turbine Technology (MTT)
