Identity and Access Management for the Internet of Things

The Identity and Access Management for the Internet of Things project aims to improve security and privacy protection in resource constrained environments for general use e.g. in industrial control systems (ICS/SCADA), personal health monitoring, smart-homes, and the automotive industry.

Our main lines of work are: (1) standardization of IoT access control and eSIM technologies, (2)
experimentation of PUF implementations, and (3) describing the business opportunities created by these
technologies for the industry partners.

This proposal has four partners:

  • The SICS Security Lab (project leader)
  • Ericsson Security Research
  • Télécom Saint Etienne, Laboratoire Hubert Curien (LaHC)
  • Security in Telecommunications Group, TU-Berlin and T-Labs
