Resource Management for IP-Based Mobile Communication Systems

This project is part of the IMT Advanced and Beyond initiative on joint mobile communication research between Sweden and China.

It is funded from VINNOVA in Sweden and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) in China. The project is a collaboration between KTH and SICS in Sweden and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. Here we study future IP-based mobile networks with specific focus on resource management. The research topics include resource allocation in the context of virtualized networks, and traffic engineering methods for supporting traffic shifts due to mobility.
