Secure Management of Trusted Virtualized Platforms

This project is a collaborative effort between SICS and Ericsson to develop models and methodology for analysis, design, and implementation of secure virtualization solutions and in particular management of secure virtualized platforms. This is a one year project with focus on secure design with the goal of providing feasibility studies for product development launch.

The project covers platform security research encompassing: 

  • the use of platform virtualization for security
  • the application of trusted computing technology in virtualized environments
  • control, configuration and maintenance of trusted virtualized platforms.

The target is to develop efficient methods to securely manage trusted platforms hosting virtualized systems and employing virtualization as a security mechanism.
